Ok, I will make it quick. I've watched the movie, and I should say that the movie isn't as good as expected but it's still worth to watch, I give 6,8/10. The storyline was TOTALLY cliche and predictable. But the good points are the action scenes & the effects (except the "pink-blood" effect, geez that made me laughed a lot :p) which were totally awesome. and also, Iko Uwais himself played quite well as a "pesilat harimau", he can fight! haha. I love him! he is my new favourite action actor after Vin Diesel ;p.
I think you might be a bit dissapointed because the director of the movie is not Indonesian. But I don't really care. I think this is a progress. I give my credits to Indonesian Movies like this. Masih jauh dari sempurna, ya namanya juga karya gak mungkin flawless pastilah ada cacatnya. Mau sutradaranya bule juga oke2 aja, belum tentu kan kalo yg bikin sineas lokal bakal lumayan seperti ini? sineas lokalnya aja yang (mungkin) belum tertarik untuk bikin film bergenre seperti ini, sibuk di genre porno-horor aja hehe. Mudah2an dengan film ini di luar sana yg suka ngejek2 itu bisa tersentil, coba buat film dengan standar seperti ini (dan tentu memperbaik cacat2nya ya) 100% karya anak Indonesia. Dengan itu kita juga bangga kan.
